The demo is a real DataCrafter server running the browser client, not a video and not a scripted tour. It is the product itself, with a shared sign-in and nothing to install.
Not quite open yet
The demo instance is being set up. We are taking the time to sandbox it properly first, because a public instance of a tool that reads and writes files deserves more care than a quick launch.

Here is what you will see when it opens, so you can decide whether it is worth your time.
Finding your way around
A sign-in dialog appears first. After that you are in the workspace, and the shape of the screen is the same in the browser and on the desktop.

Pick a Folder and a Set
Top left. A Folder groups work; a Set is the versioning unit that everything you build belongs to. Nothing can be created until both are chosen, which is deliberate - an object with no Set has no identity.

Open the Modules tree
Below the Set picker, one row per module type. Read it bottom-up and it follows the processing chain: Data Sources at the bottom, Workflows at the top. The greyed-out italic rows are the modules that do not exist yet.

Start at the bottom
Right-click
Data Sourcesto create one - it describes a table and its columns. Then aData Loaderto fill it from a spreadsheet, and aData Modelto join it to something else. Each opens as a tab in the workspace. -
Then work the data
With a model in place, a
Classifiersorts its rows through a condition tree you author, and anAggregationgroups and measures them. Both produce a new model you can view, chain into aPipeline, or report on. -
Look at the result
Right-click any Data Model and choose View to open the viewer and page through real rows. This is the analysis surface - the same data a report or the Excel add-in would read.

Run it as one job
A
Workflowis a canvas: drop the objects on, wire them in order, and run the lot against a date. Nodes colour in as they go, and each one keeps its own log.
What to expect from a shared demo
- Everyone shares one workspace. Other visitors are signed in as the same user, so you may find objects you did not create, and yours may be changed or removed by someone else.
- It gets reset. The demo is wiped back to a clean state from time to time. Treat anything you build as temporary.
- Please do not put confidential data into it. Anything you load is visible to every other visitor. Use made-up data.
- Administration is switched off. The demo account cannot reach the SQL consoles, user management, licensing or the audit log. Those exist in the product - they are not part of a public sandbox.
- The AI assistant is not configured here. It needs a provider key, which a demo cannot safely hold. Ask us if you would like to see it.
- Not for load testing. It is a small instance on modest hardware, so please be gentle with row counts.
